On Black Friday at approximately 4:35am myself and my family arrived at the "Super" K Mart in Glen Burnie, MD eager to purchase a 32' Plaza/LCD television! There television was on sale for $399 on Thursday but was never advertised for $599 for Friday! As we arrived we saw there were already 4 families a head of us and the first people in line were too shopping for the same television. There were two other shoppers looking for bikes and the VW Power Wheels Beatle. We all waited for the store to open at 6am when allllll the other stores, Wall Mart; Koles (4am), Target and a slew of other stores opened at least an hour earlier but we were dedicated to our favorite store K Mart! Once the doors were opened and we all rushed in to our potential purchases, to our dismay there WERE NO ITEMS TO PURCHASE!!! There were no tv's at the sale price of $399; no vw beatels and there were only 2 or 4 bikes that i remember! It was a disgrace for all of us who had been standing in line for 2 or more hours! The reason were given was the sale on Thanksgiving SOLD everything out! The Misleading Advertisement was it was never clearly stated that what was being sold on Thursday would not be offered on Friday. To add to my frustration the sale paper did not even reach my house for the Friday Sales until Saturday! The managers in that store new that they were sold out and they could have easily kept the anger and frustration down by posting signs on the front windows listing what was sold out. I feel like the greed and the lack of professionalism has caused myself and my family to never shop at K Mart again! Not only were we finished with K Mart I heard plenty of other shoppers saying the same thing. And to add to that after I left K Mart and drove clear across town to Towsond, MD I went to Wall Mart and purchased my son his 32’ Plaza for $499! And this was after 9am when ALLLL OF THERE BLACK FRIDAY DEALS WERE SOLD OUT!!!
