I called the Informercial number to shop more and inquire to clarify the product.informercial does not give you cost of shipping and handling. A machine takes your credit card number walk you through steps to order then hangs up without the option to have a human confirm the order was an order not an inquiry. Again I was not ordering when I called I was still shopping.
I looked in the internet to get their number to stop the order because the shipping was so much and not discounted want to get two. I also was originally going to order one for me and my sister and have my sisters sent to her home as she lives several hundred miles from me. The phone number on the internet was disconnected and I sent a message instead and got a nice auto reply.
The items showed up almost the next day. I called to let them know I didn't want the items and that the only one I opened was broken. They told me I had to pay the shipping both ways. The person understood the phone order mechanism is not custmer service friendly but that was their policy. I put a hold on the payment to try to give me time to talk to a person who could really do something. I was called back and a message left without a return number to call back. The message basically said the same, you ordered it you owe us the money. You put a hold so that means you just want to keep the product.
Finally I did manage to speak to someone who again implied I was trying to rip them off and keep the product for free. I have desire to keep them I even offered to drive it to their southern California distribution. The head of customer service wrote to my credit card company I ordered and intended to keep to product. I just want them to credit me for the shipping.
It is sad to see the credibility of a company reduced because they assume customers are out to steal from them.
I am returning the items and another customer service person has agreed to pay the shipping to me. I hope I can trust them this time.
