I applied tofor a position through Jobs.com and was contacted by Career Network Inc, 's Human Resource Representative, Sue Ann Merritt.

I was informed through e-mail contact that I met the company's initial requirements and was led to a link, requesting references.

It took some time to realize there was something wrong with this picture.

I could not bypass a prompt asking for a valid phone number for reference #1.

That led me to backtrack links - all the way to this sad admission of stupidity.

It seems I now have a profile on AIM's "Coolest People" group.

That's SOMETHING, I guess..
