Circuit City's website offered a special deal when purchasing an xbox 360 and the Samsung 50 plasma Tv (model PN50A550) for $999.99. This offer started Sunday November 16th. When you attempted to order the bundle online it says the holiday bundle is unavailible and reccomends you purchase the same TV with the pro version of the xbox 360 for $1499.99. The pro and holiday bundles for the xbox 360 both retail for the same price of $299.99.
When contacting circuit city's customer service they state the price is correct but they are out of stock of the holiday bundle 360's. The store I went to in roseville, ca told me it was a misprint but the offer was still up on the website for another 24 hours. The store refused to honor the offer but offered me the TV for $1200 without the xbox 360. This is the equivlent to paying $500 more for the same bundle.
I contacted Circuit City again the following day and they stated the promotional pricing was for one day only.
