Well it has been a LONG 61/2 yrs with my ex-husband deciding not to pay child support for his 2 children because he feels it is to much money. His order was reduced from $816.00 mth to $600.00 during our divorce because he would not sign the papers and said he would make my life miserable if i did not agree.
Yes, i know i should not have agreed but i thought if it was less money he would stop mentally abusing my 2 children with horrible things he says about me and my now fiance, needless to say it did not work at all. He pays every now & then but i can never count on him paying regular, his girlfriend was paying it for almost a yr and she did a better job at it.
She now has stopped paying and left it up to him which he has not mad a payment in 5 mths and is now over $6500.00 in current support and over $9000.00 in arrearges.
My 2 children are teenagers now and they cost more to clothe and feed and birthday and xmas presents but as long as he drives around in his little sports car Dodge daytona charger (To make up for other short comings) and spend his money on woman and booze then i guess in his mind he is cool.
He also has a daughter in conn. Who lives with her grandma after her mother was tragically killed in a car accident about 5-6 yrs ago, he also stopped supporting her financially for over 3 years when he was brought in by the court, not sure if he's paying now but i doubt it.
He does have 1 child living with him now (that he also did not pay regular support for through the years) And that is only because he believes it is cheaper to raise a kid then pay child support.
The dept of Revenue has been dealing with him for 6 yrs and although they suspend his liscence for non-payment he goes in and talks to one of the employees (better known as a bobble head) and convinces them to give him his liscence back & he will sign a promisary note promising to pay from now on.
Are you kidding me, this man has signed atleast 15 promisary notes with absolutely not $1 in a increase to the thousands of dollars he owes, and the well once again he NEVER pays it like he should.
They are now going for contempt and i hope he gets nailed good for being a deadbeat, i hope they send him off to jail so the next time he doesn't want to support his kids he can think about that big guy named Leon in jail he don't want to see again, LOL.
When my children see him on the weekends and they ask for anything he says i pay my support ask you &*^* mother for it. Even tells the kids he'll show receipts of all his child support payments, HAHAHA How from! The receipt fairy?
What these men & woman don't get is it's not about the Ex-wife or husbands it's about supporting YOUR children, it's always been about the kids and their welfare not about the dollar amount. So if you see the VINCE man as he calls himself let him know what you think!
