I recenty have been unemployed for awhile and was looking for any job to be able to take care of me and my family. And came across an ad in The Chicago Sun Times that said assitant managers wanted. Paid training and $19 dollars an hour.
Now by me being out of a job for so long and needing money to get through todays tough economy I decided to check this company out. So I went up there and they told me that we would be managing people on how to sell these safety products. And we needed $380 to buy our training kit and they will fully reimbursh you after the training class while they were still going to pay us $19 bucks an hour through a 5 hour training class monday through friday.
So it sounded like a win-win situation. I thought okay ima get my money back and you guys are going to pay me while training me on how to be a manager to sales associates. This was the beginning of the storm ahead.
This is where they got me. I was still skeptical about the whole situation after I gave them all the money I had and I mean all I had was 500 buck and I spent $380 thinking Im going to double my money easily. I call the manager her name was Ms. Franco (o anyone out there be aware of her lies she will tell you. And I asked her if we were going to be selling anything because i hate selling stuff and she told me we will not have to sell anything. They were only going to be training us on how to be managers.
Well I go in the exact next day with my $380 dollars pay them and sign a contract saying that we cannot got our money back until we finish training. So the next instance they give us this big ass box excuse my language i'm getting mad just thinking about it. I'm thinking like what the f* i thought we were going to get a book or something. And inside the box was this fire exstinguisher, a lighter, a pan, and lighter fluid. And Ms. Franco starts telling us ways that we will be able to sell this stuff and how easy it is to sell and how we must sell $500 buy monday and it was friday.
Let me point out that the product was very expensive I mean a freakin fire extinguisher was 200 bucks and you want us to sell 500 buy monday you gotta be nuts. The way the economy was I knew I was'nt gone sell anything but me being in the situaton I was in i was like what the hell. I might do good.
Let me paint a picture for you they asked for $380lars the exact next day and thier was about 13 people who paid including me and by the time I left thier was only 3 left who stayed and I left the next week. So imagine how much they made that one day and I know we were not the only group there that day or even week. So i try to sell this extremely high product and let me tell you I didn't make one sell. Don't get me wrong i showed people some loved the product but once they seen the price the ran toward the hills real talk. So i gon n on monday and tell them i didn't sell anything and they act like i broke the law or something and they start saying that everyone who does not have thier five hundred buy the end of thee week will have to sell 15,000!!! Worth of equipment before they can finish thier training. So im like f* tis and I called M. S franco and asked her for my money back because remember in the beginning they are going to tell you that you don't have to sale anything.
So she told me no because i didnt finish the training and im like what training did I have they said paid training and i didnt reciecve no check so guess what she told me she gone say that in order to begin your training we have to sell 3,000 dollars worth of equipment. And from that point on i quit and I did not recieve my money back even though I did not even recieve any training that the y promised in the beginning.
This is a true scam and people in the chicago area ware of this company in the local newspapers or on the internet because they are liars and only want to help them make money and will not give you a dime. They are not gonna pay yu for training or anything they wont even train you on how to be a manager they only gonna teach you how to sell thier product while they sit on thier ass and harass you because this super expensive product are not being bought so please everyone out there who seen the ads in the papers and internet be aware and stay as far away from this company as you possibly can.
