After being assured this was a legitimate at-home opportunity back in June of this year, and giving them my initial payment for "access" to their database in which to pull information (yes, I know I should have questioned it then). I realized within two business days that this was a scam. I called and got a voice mail, so I went back online and canceled my "associate agreement" as outlined. Only to discover for the past four (4) months I have consistently had debits coming out of my account from this company. The first month I attempted to reach them (# provided on my bank statement) only to find out the number had been disconnected. When I was debited the second month, I contacted the bank and asked if they could contact the vendor, since I was not able to, I was told no. I filed a complaint in writing to the company and asked that the funds debited from my acccount be returned and they did not have permission to deduct future charges (I provided a copy of my email as proof I had canceled the agreement). I received no answer and the third and fourth month I was charged again. I have canceled the credit card. Creating some hardship, but it will end the charges. I am out of $145.00. Lesson learned.
I have filed a complaint with the proper body in the state I live and have recently discovered my internet provider (AOL) has filed deceptive practices, fraudulent charges against the company in the State of Iowa.
If anyone has a class action suit against this company, I would very much like to be notified to be joined in the action.
