I went to file for credit and noticed that I had this bogus collection on my credit report from CBA (Collection Bureau of America). It says I owe them a charge of $150 which is past due as of Sept. for AT&T - California. First of all... I've never had an account with or applied for service with AT&T. So how did I end up with this bogus charge on my credit report. Someone must have used my social security number. I have filed a dispute through experian which it has shown up on.
