CCbill.com charged my credit card without my permission. I have no idea how they got my credit card details in the first place. I am in Australia, and go online to pay my utility bills, so maybe in some sick way, they have ways to get my credit card details, especially now I read that they are iffiliated with net detective.
They charged my credit card first off for $85, then again 3 days later for $70.
These people cant get away with this. I have cancelled my credit card because of these people continually trying to just TAKE my money.
Hen I contacted this company, they first asked my for my credit card number (that until was cancelled, there was no way I was going to trust them). They then rambled off a email address I have never heard of, gave me a name that I had never heard of, but told me that they had my credit card details and CVV2 to comfirm ME!!
Then they went ahead to accuse me of visiting porn site, I told them that there was no way Im interested in these smutty sites. He then went ahead to try and accuse my kids. My children are 4,3 and 18months, so yeah sure, they know how to visit a porn site and use mummys credit card. He then tried to accuse my husband. They will look for any excuse, but the fact is, that they charged a credit card that they werent authorized to, the day they charged me was the day I was online paying my phone bill with my mastercard.
This company MUST be stopped. Im not the first person that they have done this to in Australia, since I have reported them, alot of people in Australia have come forward and said that it has happened to them.
AUSTRALIAN PEOPLE ARENT DUMB CCBill, you are the idiots, with all your rude call centre staff. I have a up side though, my mother in law is a attorney, and THEY are not getting away with it. They have screwed with the wrong person.
