I was promised a lot of different things from these people. I was desperate. I thought that the local child support aggency wasn't doing what they could to get my ex husband to pay the $8000 that he owed in back child support. I listened to supportkids. Coms lies. I am now stuck with these people who haven't been able to collect anything for my case since May 07. I just recently looked at my case through the local child support case and my ex has sent $100. This will then be transfered into an account with support kids and then a 15% charge will be put on it and then the rest will be sent to me. They did not get that money for me, the states support angency did that for me. According to supportkids I will have to wait another 12 months of consequtive nonpayments from my ex husband.
In their contract it says if they are unable to get any support from the noncustodial parent, then I can get out of the contract. And they keep leaving messages on his machine and thats it. How can this be enough for them to get anything from my ex.
To top it off, I found out this morning that the local child support agency can not take him to court for the now $9000 past due child support because this company is handling my case.
If you have a deadbeat parent who knows how to beat the system and has no kind of assets that can be trading for money, then don't go with these people. They lie and they take from those who truely need the help.
Also, if you have another parent paying child support but they are on time, be careful. They like to take a percentage of that too. I had to fight to get the full amount from the other child support paying parent. It wasn't nice either. The lady was rude.
