My mother is 72 and all of a sudden she gets a collections letter from a Vital Recovery Services who is collecting an unpaid dept from Aspire Visa/Midland Funding. And it is so high that she nor us can afford it.
According to the credit report it was opened in 2005. She has no paperwork for such an account. When I called Midland Funding they would not talk to me and told me to talk to Vital Recovery they further more had her SSN wrong. But all other info was correct.
Now we are in the process of disputing this clam. Is there any help out there for this kind of Rip off? As this has just begun for us.
