I took advantage of an offer that I received in the mail for a Promotional 2.99% APR until July. I called and talked to one of the representatives and was told that I couldn't pay off my Hawaiian Visa because it was listed under Bank of America. Then she suggested that I have the money deposited in my checking account and I could pay my Hawaiian Visa that way. That sounded good so she went over the charges with me and told me that my payments would be $117.00 a month. That sounded great to me. My Hawaiian Visa payments were $171.00 a month. So I said yes. Then I get a WorldPoints statement saying my payment is $142.00.. Oh God, I was shocked to the point of shaking. I still hadn't told my husbandnow I'm scared. I paid it.
The next month the statement said $164.00... I didn't pay it. Now I am mad. I paid the $117.00 that I was originally told.
I emailed them several times but they insisted that I had to call and talk to someone. I could never get through to anyone...
I tried to get through to the 800-732-9194 number four times before I finally got someone to help me. Her name is Kate. I explained to her that I only had a cell phone and to please take my number in case we got disconnected, so she could call me back. Well, we got disconnected and she never called me back.
I got a message from a Monica Lynch (Lynch??? That's ironic) at 602-597-4947 and I called but had to leave a message.
I wrote to "The Bank of America Executive Relations" and to "Customer. Assistance@occ. Treas. Gov"
and received no response...
I just got my next B of A Statement. Now they want $252.00!!!
Help! What can I do?
