Marc & Mindy are supposedly some type of "College kids just trying to make money on the side" or whatever it may be. I simply say this because according to friends, and what I see, they do most of their trades at or based near local colleges in Philadelphia.

About a 2 and a half years ago "Marc" and I were speaking on the phone. We were bartering, you know the basic stuff when he asked me when we could meet. At the time, I was only 16, so I was a sucker. He seemed extremely nice, and would randomly chit chat with me about my goals, as well as other foolish things that had no relevancy to the sale.

On the other hand it was interesting, because when I'd bring back up the exchange, he'd become extremely pushy and suggestive. Eventually I brought his price down from 60 to 40 dollars on a PDA if I recall correctly, but he said he'd need the money asap to "put it on hold". Foolishly I accepted the offer, but told him I could not take it to him for about 3 days. He then went on about how it'll probably be gone, and kept insisting that I come that day, if not the next morning. I explained to him it was impossible, this is when he began suggesting Paypal... Eventually I used my mothers Paypal account, WITH her permission and sent him the 40 dollars long story short. However, after I sent it... I got 0 email replies from him for the entire day, and "all of a sudden" they were closed. (Not according to their hours he told me previously.)

So, eventually the next day when he contacted me he naturally continued on in his "suave" voice shall we call it? About how it didn't go through because "it wasn't a verified Paypal account". I didn't know what the term meant at the time, so I contacted Paypal and they explained it all to me so I'd understand, as well as to my mother.

After this, I called back Marc and talked more about it, all he kept saying was "I don't know what to tell you, but I didn't accept the transfer". All was well for a few days, and AGAIN, I trusted him... Low and behold, at the end of the month my mom was charged for the $40 still and no PDA was anywhere to be found for me..

I contacted Paypal, and they said that it's up to him to make the call, since it wasn't exactly done online, etc. And all this other technicality that I clearly suffered from in this case.

I truly just thought it'd be important to warn anyone and everyone of this, and I apologize for not having any screen shots or further evidence, it was just so long ago...

However, if their THAT professional THEY may or may not have further documentation of the incident still. Who knows..

Please, their products are cheap for a reason. And they buy yours for unfair prices most of the time. You're simply getting what you pay for, if not less... When you see this "lovely couple", just do yourself a favor and stray the other way...

Take my word for it, it isn't worth it, and Craigslist and the internet is too big to be settling for scammers like Marc & Mindy.
