TimeShare Re-Seller person called Mr Todd White WARNING*. Tel Nos 1 407 581 3752, & call back no of 1800 859 9394 x 138. Called me saying he had a possible buyer for me, would I be interested in selling. My reply was yes of course on condition I dont pay anytihing upfront to make this happen. He replied of course, and continued with the fact he could put this together as the buyer wanted to go to Branson but the other unit was to expensive.
I asked where he obtained my info from he said online as I had listed it for sale (True, 4 years ago, I was suckered into this by Century 21).
Day 2 he calls and confirms he has a Signed offer, So i asked him to fax it to me to look over. But he says, under timeshare reselling rules he cannot fax me the contract until I sign a form authorizing him to take a title search out on behalf of the buyer and that will cost me $1310.00USD. So how did I want to go ahead and pay for this today?
I told him to cease immediately and this was a scam as I had expressly told him I would not pay upfront for anything, He then got abusive and started shouting at me about his costs incurred and time wasted etc etc. I hung up.
So this is a warning to all out there if you get a call from Timeshare Sales. Do your background homewirk and check, I was nearly caught by this scam artist and hope that he gets the dues due to him.
