Dan Fasfa owner of Design Built Contractors, Inc has a reputation in the Hotel Construction industry of owing and cheating his sub-contractors and hotel owners. I know several of his sub-contractors in the DFW area that he owes money (over $600,000.00). I have heard that he has put sub-contractors out of business because of not paying them. I have spoke to some of his sub-contractors that have lost their stores and homes. Dan Fasfa will get you to do work for him for pennies and then in the end still take some out of your check, he will say that he only made x amount of money from the owner and try to settle with you for 30% less then first agreed upon, while the whole time he got the full amount. I have also heard Fahd Ahmad one of is project managers has taken bribe money to award certain companies jobs.
