The company lied about using Chem Dry technology when I made the appointment. The "deep rubbing" they advertise means that they shampoo the carpet and pour tones of water into the carpet WITHOUT extracting it afterwards. My carpets are still soaking wet after 1 day of cleaning. When I called the owner to complain, he said that extracting the water was an extra charge. The company used rotary shampooing which requires wet vacuum immediately to remove soil laden foam and speed drying. They didn't do that! See http://www.franklintechnology.com/training/carpetcare/rotary_shampoo_procedures.Asp for the correct way to perform the service without causing damage to carpets.
The company charges upfront, which is bizarre for this industry.
Guaranteed 80% removal of some stains charged me $75 extra for it and the stain was the same in the end (except that it was ultra wet).
The guy who came over (this is a two person job by the way) had no interest in even moving the basic furniture.
I was told it would take 1 hr to do the house and it took 2 hours.
This is the worst experience I have had with a home service ever.
Pray that my carpets dry someday.
I consider that job wasn't complete because the water was not extracted from the carpets. I am still waiting to determine if I experienced shrinkage of carpet damage from over wetting.
