My husband signed on with England almost 1 yr. Ago. Oct. 26th. I had made plans to homeschool our daughter and we would travel with him. Then at a later date I would join him in the driving part. But as of right now I'm scared to sign on with him. We're starting to try to figure out how we can get hime out from under them. CR England holds the contract over your head like how much they can harm you if you quit them. But they don't get you enough miles to pay lease, fuel, ins. And to be able to pay your house payment, power, and living expenses.
In a nutshell, they don't expect you to live. They only want you to exist long enough to get the lease paid down just enough that they can force you out of the picture and put some rookie in your truck. After you have spent month upon month struggling to survive and hang onto
what you hope will one day be "your" truck. They don't care about their drivers as people, they treat them like they're a bunch of cattle. To prod and poke and push just so they can make CR England a little richer. I don't know much about the Mormon religion. But I do know that if the Englands are any example of it, that it's no wonder they're not called Christians. There's no way these people could make it in the kingdom of heaven after what they have put so many men, women, and families through. I feel that they are now trying to get us to turn our truck in. Because they won't run us with the miles that it will take to make a living. And mind you I'm not talking a good living either, but enough so that our bills are paid and I don't have to worry about losing my house or braces for my little girl. They give us just enough to pay them. We can't even afford health/dental insurance, because then we wouldn't be able to afford to eat after paying our bills to ive. I'm at my wits end of trying to get these people to listen. I hope someday there is an attorney or a group of attorneys, that can come in and see to it that these drivers keep what they have bled, sweated, and cried for. And that CR England for once is made to feel the pain and misery that they have inflicted on so many human beings. I know they didn't force any man, or woman to sign these contracts. But I also know that not once did they tell a single one of them that after they signed on. They would lose everything. Even to everything that they had before coming to England. Savings is gone, pride is wounded. But they will not ever be able to say I failed. Because in truth they are the failures. They have failed mankind in compassion and in any sense of the word decency.
Thank you for giving me the chance to write this. I truly pray that it helps someone else know that if they are already with England, they are not alone. And if they have not yet signed on with England, please look else where.
Believe me there are alot of better companies out there. I've been there, done that.
