Women Are Dreamers Too, Wadt
Women are dreamers too, wadt non-profit scam

Dr. Cindy Williams advertises Womens are Dreams Too (wadt) as a Fulton Micro Enterprise Council 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, helping victims of Domestic Violence transcend poverty through micro-enterprise training. This training consists of a 3- to 4-month course in which she states she will train each individual to run their business successfully without the need of getting a loan.

At orientation Dr. Cindy stated Class starts March 21st; classes are from 11:00am 2:30pm. We will use three books. Friday classes go those 12 weeks. The Saturday classes we do our logo, teach about anti-viruses. Saturday classes will also be address money cost-efficient. Friday she will teach us how to set up our business. SPA is going to come in and talk to us. City of Atlanta is going to talk to us about local government processes. At the end of class Dr. Williams will have Bank of America come in and open up an account for our business. Use Dr. Williams to get Verizon contract and for General Motors increment. Friday book you have to pay for. Dr. Cindy Williams stated numerous times that she only want to reserve her program for the "black cultural".

Now in the beginning of the "semester" it was about 12 of us. Dr. Williams told us we had to pay 150.00 for our Saturday book and 50.00 for our Friday book. These books basically had information about running a successful business. They were also photocopied from other publicized books. So basically we paid for photocopies. Also we were responsible for contributing to our own lunches every time we went to class. One thing that puzzles me was how adamant she was on getting us to pay for our books and lunches and especially when there were people who had explained to her that they couldn't afford it, she still demanded the money.

A student asked Dr. Williams what does the money from our books pay for and she stated it paid for her developing our websites. She also stated she will be a web developer and she will do our web hosting.

One of the students said she will not buy a book because she will use a pervious student's book. Dr. Williams got mad and said she will not do her website, that student left and never returned.

By the end of the 4 months it was only 8 students left. There was one student who actually joined the organization late because he was promised by Dr. Cindy Williams that she will do his business plan. However, when he went through the entire class he came out without a business plan.

At one point, one of the students saw the repo man come in and after that, Dr. Williams started locking the doors.

On the last Friday's class Dr. Williams stated all of the things we will have when we graduate. Our guest speaker will be Diane Marshall with Waffle House and Juliana Sparks with AllState Insurance. We usually give out special awards given out the GM Controller and Verizon Wireless, Sheryl Shuttleway. We're going to invite all of the Senate in the State of Georgia. We will always be speaking to our Congressmen Lewis and other congressmen. We will invite to Shirley Franklin, Lisa Boarders, Atlanta Public Schools, the Chamber, and Charles Bannister for Gwinnett County. Normally during graduation, they call your name, your website will be up, and your sellifilo will be ready. They will have our business cards, brochure, sellifilo, and website ready. We will have a band, belly dancers, food, and of course fun!!! You must dress very formal. Dr. Cindy Williams takes pride in her work for our web sites which is why she is usually hurt when someone doesn't renew their web hosting.

At graduation we did not have our websites, sellifilo, business plans, business cards, belly dancers, state representatives, our mayor, Allstate representative or WaffleHouse representative. Not even the board for our organization showed up.

After graduation I and two other students were consistently emailing the individuals Dr. Williams said would be responsible for doing our brochures, business cards, sellifilo, and website. Then Dr. Williams wanted everyone to back off because they were "resting". Since we "graduated" Dr. Williams has lied to us about everything.

She said Renee Terrell was going to charge us $250 for a sellifilo even though during class she said we'll get that for free.
She said she along with Eddie and Walter Lee will build our website but then she emailed me today yelling at me about how it was my responsibility and not hers.
She told us to pay $120.00 (and other people $130.00) to do our web hosting for a year through EarthLink. But she lied because I called EarthLink and they said our websites were inactive which means she is using her own personal server and charging us. Now, we can't move our websites to another server because she refuses to give us her password for her EarthLink account.
She shuts our website down whenever she gets mad at us.

I think she should be analyzed because she is using charitable money for her own personal gain. We were promised something and didn't get it and now she wants us to pay her to get it. That is a scam! She advertises that she is a non-for-profit company giving back to her community but she wouldn't let any other race participate in the classes. She has repeated spoke negatively of races other than African-American. And she also teaches us to copy other people creativity and make it own. Like she told us to go on three people's websites and copy what they are doing. She said just change the words around a little bit so that we don't get in trouble.

I seriously recommend the State of Georgia look into her program because she is stealing money and telling a lot of lies. She said she helps batter women but I have yet to hear of or see a battery woman she has helped through her program.
