On April 18 we hired the Business Tub Techs a man by the name of Gary came to re-furbish our baththub. The original cost was $300.00 and when he arrived he said the tub was the worse he has ever seen or repaired and the cost would now be $600.00, which we agreed to pay knowing that yes the Tub was really bad. Money is not the issue here, the issue is that Gary applied only one thin layer of paint, therefore the paint bubbled and peeled.
I immedialy contacted Gary and he wanted to charge us an additional $150.00 to come fix the bubbles and the peeling. Of course I did not agree and that's when Gary wouldnt return my phone calls or E-mails. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have hired some-one else to come fix Gary's big mess this person gave me the Name and Number of another Couple he did this to he also had to go fix the mess Gary made to there tub.
Today 8-18-08 we were to go to a Mediator Session at the Court House. I received a call from the Court House saying Gary refuses to participate, so my next step is to take him to Small Claims Court. I want to STOP Gary from doing this to someone else. We need to shut him down and it is my personal mission to do this.
