TOOK MY MONEY, never sent book, given run-around by supposed tech-support, Merlin

I ordered the book, Flip & Grow Rich, on 7/5/08 for $24.95 $4.95 S/H. After a couple weeks I had not received the book, so I tried repeating the steps to see if I had made a mistake when purchasing it. Much to my dismay, I was charged a SECOND time for the book on 7/17, automatically! The site had kept track of my debit card/billing information and charged me the full price again.

I never received a receipt or a shipping confirmation via e-mail either time. I first contacted tech support, Merlin, on 7/17, only to be told my message was being forwarded on to the "concerned department" for investigation. I have had a total of 13 email communications with either Merlin, or Jordan (affiliate manager) and it is now August 17 and I have not received the first book, or received a refund for the second book, that I did not want in the first place.

I believe this is a scam site, that takes your money and never sends the product. If this is in any way tied to Armando Montelongo, this is giving him a bad name. Whoever Merlin is, passes the buck to another department and nothing gets done. I even tried to get the phsyical address for the company and Merlin replied once again that he was forwarding it to the concerned department for investigation! My husband tried calling the number that another post had listed (800) 731-6072, and it didn't even ring, it just hung up on him.

Merlin also includes a link to www.montelongo.com, which appear to be under construction, but I doubt it even exists. I ordered the book from www.armandomontelongo.com, so why give me a different web address?

I urge anyone interested in obtaining products from these sites: DO NOT give them your credit/debit/billing information. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and eagerly waiting to see what the outcome will be. I will keep you posted.
