Beware of Mr. Arnott Anthony Barclay. He is a DEVIL in disguise. This desperate man will tell you about all the blessings he receives from God because he discounts his work.
On July 31st 2008 I called Mr. Arnott Anthony Barclay to assess and give me a price for installing molding in my family room. Although he is a little man about 4' 11" 120lbs he is the biggest liar and deceiver in America. I am talking about a slithering snake.
He explained that the cut at each side of the fireplace and doorway would require a different cut. He said although his prices are much higher for "white people" he would charge me less because I was black like him. (That should have been a hint to me that he was a dishonest man).
He gave me some tips on my painting, my husbands wiring etc... I believed he was really helpful and friendly. The next day he showed up with two men who stumbled through the job. They did not know the top of the molding from the bottom. They cut the molding on my cement car pad with the stained side down. The cuts at the fireplace and door are cut incorrectly and they could not finish the job.
When the deceiver (Arnott Anthony Barclay) returned he explained that he would go to Home Depot and get the end pieces needed to finish the job. Since all the rest of the molding was up, I decided to pay him. The next day he called and told my husband he was still searching for end pieces to complete the job. We have called and emailed him several times and he has not responded.
