I originally started dealing with 1st Guaranty Mortgage and found out that all these companies are the same. I paid Closed First for an appraisal and it never got done. They refuse to take my phone calls and refuse to return my emails. Had no choice but to dispute the charges with my credit card company.
They tried to sell me "credit repair" but after all the other problems with these companies, i wasn't about to invest any more money. That is when the real trouble began.
Immediately after my denying the credit repair program, my mortgage file mysteriously disappeared. The loan officer I was working with was fired and i was given the name of Alipio Estruch as a supervisor. Google Al and you will find that there are several reports on how he defrauded mortgage companies to obtain his house in Weston, Florida. These are the type of people that work there.
Check out the State of Florida Financial Regulations website to get license information on all the companies. The Secretary of State can provide you with corporation information on these companies as well. Beware of these companies. I am currently working with Florida and Tennessee regulators about my complaints as well as notifying the National Mortgage Brokers Association.
They always respond to complaints on this website saying that the problem is with an ex-employee. This is a LIE. Check them out on the web and you will see for yourself, they are predators.
Crossland Credit was just incorporated in June 08 and they are already falling in line with the rest of the companies run/owned by the same people.
