In September I had to see a Doctor because I pulled a muscle in my leg and could barely walk. It took Horizon almost a year to pay a 175.00 bill. They tried to pull the pre-existing condition bs because I had this coverage a short time.in April of this year I was experiencing a painful cramping in my upper chest. Not knowing if I was having a heart attack or something else, I was scared enough to go to a doctor. I had to have a series of tests to rule out the possibilities, ultra-sound, blood work, endoscopy and a colon screening. Needless to say I receive counless letters from Horizon telling me that this is not a bill and they give me codes to let me know its still "under review' I know they are trying to pull the pre-existing condition stuff again, but I hardly ever go to a doctor. My doctor sent them my records, a chest x-ray 5 years ago and some blood work over 2 years ago. Both of these are irrevelant. I pay them 348.00 a month for coverage and I have to fight with them all the time. I was wondering if anyone can supply me with the State agency who oversees the health insurance companies so I can send them a letter about Horizon. Thanks
