I feel like a fool. I answered some ads for jobs. Many, if not most, were answered by Career Network, Inc. Saying I appeared to be qualified for the job. To go any further I had to fill out their application form. Part of the application required that I give the email addresses of my references. No legitimate firm would do so. You simply couldn't continue to apply for a job unless you gave them the email addresses.
I resent using legitimate employment websites such as CareerBuilders, only to find myself dealing with a bogus company. I was stupid enough to give them some email addresses. Of course, I have never heard back from them on any of the applications I submitted, although I was well qualified for the jobs.
