I would never take the time out of my schedule to write this if I did not feel compelled to warn people about the dishonest practices of this company. They promised me a "5" day window on my out of state move. The written contract they sent was changed from the verbal contract the owner gave to me. Then, when I called to question why they had not called with an approximate date, my belongings had not left the "storage" facility. The owner was very rude to me as I was quite upset about being mislead. When our items finally arrived all of the boxes labeled fragile had been crushed-one box actually had large holes in it. So many items were smashed. My husband went as far to say that he believed they were thrown off the truck because the damage to our belongings was so severe there was no other plausible explanation. We had no insurance so our items that were destroyed are not covered. I spend multiple hours appropriately packing with proper packing tools. Please be considering my review prior to choosing this company. On a positive note, the estimate that was given to me was quite accurate, so no surprises there. But who cares about that as we have lost precious belongings as a result of choosing Atom moving. We still have not finished unpacking so I am not even sure what is missing thus far.
