I too was approached by poetry.com about having my poem read at the convention. They did want an amount of $169 to send all the awards and to have my poem read by someone at the convention.
I am also supposedly a finalist in one of the contest and that one of my poems will be published in this book along with other winners and finalists. They say I have to purchase the book even though I will have a writting in it.
I googled the convention to see what it was all about and found out that it was a rip off. Becareful people for this site.
