I am receiving emails stating that my qualifications match a job description but I can't find this company on the internet as a legitamite business

This company has contacted me saying that I fit the qualifications for a position with their company. They keep asking me for information (that I did give) but I can't find them on the internet. Do they have a business license? I think we should contact the IRS or someone about them. Is anyone else getting these emails??
