April 22 First Line Reps solicited me in my home to install an alarm system I signed the contract and it was a done deal On April 22 exactly one year later, SAI/FSM Alarm Co. Reps solicited me again in my home, informed me that First Line had gone bankrupt, and my alarm was no longer being monitored they were chosen to take over the existing accounts of First Line customers. Believing there convincing story, I signed the contract, they never informed me they were going to check my credit once again. First Line equipment was removed and SAI equipment was put in all in one day.in May my checking account reflected two payments of $44.99 First Line & SAI were paid. I immediately became suspicious and cancelled the recurring charges with my local bank. I contacted a supervisor from SAI and informed them of the situation, he assured me that the matter would be taken care of, the current contract would be cancelled and that they would pick up ther equipment and return first line equipment, SAI disappeared. Additionally I contacted a former supervisor of First Line Alarm, I explained the current situation, he informed me that I in fact was involved in a alarm scam that involved several consumers in different states, and by having the first line sign in my front yard, I was a sitting duck when SAI Alarm came knocking. He felt remorse and informed me if I became involved in litigation that he would testify on my behalf, additionally he informed me of several websites that involved other consumers faced with the same situation such as my self. Recently, on July 13 I was contacted by Crenshaw and Associates, A legal firm hired by SAI for breach of contract / equipment totaling $5000. This firm is harrassing me and my boyfriend with rude phone calls. I have retained an attorney & contacted Fresno County DA to open an investigation, to expose and inform other consumers of my situation.
