Here is a brief summary of how a "parent" can destroy any meaning attached to the word "Mother".
Linda Vita was divorced from her husband back in 1999. She lost custody of her children for numerous reasons, actions and lack of parenting desires. An order of child support was ordered at the time of the divorce along with an order that Linda Vita receive 29% of her ex-husbands military retirement. One can only figure such a rediculous order be granted because the Judge himself knew Ms. Vita would not ever pay child support and this would be one way for the children to receive something. Even if it came from the father anyway.
Within weeks of her divorce, she left the state where her children resided. Not wanting to communicate with them, Myself (her ex) and her children spent countless hours chasing her around telephonically so THEY CAN SPEAK WITH HER! Never paying support, never calling, never sending a birthday card, never sending a card for ANY holiday, her children would often question why their mother didn't care. Of course the few times over the last ten years that she did speak with them, she told them it was I that sent back all cards and presents that were ever sent to them by her.
The cost of taking care of children in ANY economy is quite a struggle, especially without ANY help from the noncustodial parent. The children struggle, we all struggle. The costs of school, school clothes, Dr. Visits, braces... The list is endless.
Ms. Linda Kaye Vita has run from her obligations. From Missouri-Texas-Colorado-Texas-Louisiana. All during a 10 year period.
She had told a judge during her court appearance from when she kidnapped my children, "every time I begin working, the state takes my money for child support". The question from the Judge was, "Why haven't you paid any child support?". May sound rediculous to you and I but this is a woman with a 6th grade education who can't think of anyone but herself.
She has since begun collecting her portion of my retirement. The amount is more than the ordered support. But do you think she is paying any support? Of course not. You might think the state would have an easier time collecting my support, but once again the answer is no. So not only am I not getting a portion of MY retirement from the 20 years of military service, but I am also not getting child support!
This is a BRIEF summary of the life and times of a dead beat mother. During the 10 years she has been court ordered to stay away from the children, not to call or write the children. All of which HAS to be supervised if she wanted to speak or see them. Which I might add has NOT HAPPENED!
I'm sure there are many stories out there more horrific than mine. But since I've never been able to get any help from anyone, I thought I'd write a short factual story of a DEAD BEAT MOTHER. Hoping, praying someone out there might be able to assist me. Yes, she collects a Gov check from my retirement that is directly deposited to a bank account and yet, I can't collect my child support. Thank you Louisiana, thank you.
