I am writing this report against my landlord. When I moved in my apartment back in November I filled out a sheet that had to be filled out that stated all things that were wrong with my apartment and I then had to turn this sheet into my landlord. Things that were on this sheet were that my ceiling fan in my living room wabbled, I had no screens in my windows, my back porch screen door was ripped and laying on the porch because it did not fit its track on the back porch door, and that the water valve for my washer had no shut off switch to turn water off.
I have had to fight and fight with my landlord to get these things resolved. My landlord has called me a liar, had stated that I was never home when I was supposed to be home to let my maintance people into my home. All things to try to make themselves look better. I have had to miss a complete day of work to meet my maintance people who never showed up to fix any of my problems. I had a water leak in my apartment because my washer was leaking and I had no way to shut off my water valve for the washer. I contacted my land lord left several voice mail messages and still nothing was done about this matter until a week later. Meanwhile I had standing water in my apartment.
I feel no one should have to go through what I have went through. These people that rent these apartments should be readily available to you if a maintance issue comes up and they are not. I want them reported to whoever and whatever it takes. I pay $575 a month to live in a dumb. I had bugs in my apartment that took me four days to get them to come out and get rid of. Bugs that were in my food and all over my house. I feel no one should have to live like this.
