First, I'm taking my time to fill this report because I'm very grateful with complaint. Thanks to them I knew other people is having the same problem and how did they solved it. Second, to help people facing similar situations.
In my case I got a unauthorized charge in my bank account coming from "ELLE MAGAZINE" (by the way I got a small balance in my bank so, after being charged I got two extras "Insufficient funds fees" charges). Since I never purchase women's magazines I called the company and they said that the subscription to ELLE has been done through a third company named "NewSub". They gave me their phone # but all could get from there was a automated answer machine.
Following other experiences, I went immediately to the bank (CHASE) with a book (decided to wait as long as it takes). An hour later, and a chapter of my book already read, I spoke with the banker who called the claims center and -after showing them a copy of the complaint - they promised to cancel (24-48 hrs) the unauthorized charge and all the fees. I also asked them to cancel my card and send me a new one.
