Extremely Poor Customer Service - Durapella Love Seat

My fiance and I recently purchased a living room package at Ashley. We bought the extended warranty plan and decided to pick up the furniture at their warehouse. We were told by the salesperson that pickups will be charge $5 for loading and tieing down of product in your truck. We picked up the furniture, they loaded it, and told us we were good to go. I asked if it was secure and the man said yes. Not 2 miles down the road the love seat fell off and sustained some torn places on the back. The men never tied the furniture down. We contacted Ashley right away and were given the run around. 2 days later we were contacted and told they would do nothing for us, except sell us another love seat at a discount. They informed us it was our responsibility to secure the product and that the salesperson who told us otherwise was wrong. But they dont take responsibility for what their salespeople say, even if they blatantly lie. I was told that it would take no more than $150 to fix the tears by Ashley but they still care more about their profits than taking care of thier customers. I highly recommend never shopping at this establishment, they only care about your money.
