The initial customer service rep I spoke to at TransTech when I attempted to close my accout was very vague in her explanation of the closing procedures and what was needed on my end of the process. I was told that I could not cancel before my anniversary date and that I needed to fax in a written closing statement. She gave me the fax number and told me to fax it prior to my anniversary date, which I did. No correspondance followed.
I called TransTech two weeks before my anniversary date and the rep I spoke to informed me that I had to pay a "DE-CONVERSION" fee of $300.00 since account closure was my ultimate decision. I argued with several different reps to no avail. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied.
I faxed TransTech three letters asking for an explantion from a supervisor. I mailed a letter aking to be contacted by a manger or supervisor. I gave them my cell phone number and demanded to be contacted immediately. I received no telephone call and no correspondance.
However, two days after my anniversary date, I noticed an electronic debit in the amount of $395.95 from TransTech. I called my bank and disputed it.
I will harass TransTech with every ounce of will that I have. TransTech engages in fraudulant business operations. They have undisclosed closing fees. This company goes out of their way to rip you off. The reps at TransTech are not helpful, vague, and rude. I would never recommend TransTech.
