I hope filling this report gets me some justice! On May 02 i filed a request to get a quote on my direct mailing of brochures and web design. Elite Marketing Solutions, Inc. Guy AKA chris anderson calls me and convinces me to accept his deal on pricing. He gave me a quote for mailing out 30,000 flyers and designing a 3 page website.
The following is exactly what he proposed:
Cost of Marketing Campaign
30,000 Records Mailing - Promo Price: $7,000
Website Redesign Free SEO (www.dekkoconstruction.com): $499.99
Total Price: $7,500 (valid with promo package discounts thru 05/06/08).
Looking at this looks completely legitmate. WRONG! It was a scam! First he refused to pick up the 30,000 flyers unless i make a full payment! Scarry! I refused to make the payment.
I offered him $1,000 deposit; he takes the deposit via PAYPAL and later scheduled some company for pickup. Later that week, i asked him about the web design and he started asking for more money to put up the website so i made another $500 payment and at the same time he informed me that the flyers are being stuffed and labeled for delivery. Few days passed i didn't hear from him i was very frustrated! Then, i again asked for the web site and he put together some unprofessional work and sent me a link on his server. NOTICE he still didn't put up the site officially. Three weeks passed, i got a call from the moving company [ two guys and a van moving co] that the flyers are sitting in there storage and they will destroy the flyers which are $3,500 worth. I immediately call chris anderson office, no one picked up. I left him an angry message and then he calls me from a Block ID. I noticed so many times that he would call me from Block IDs except the very first call he made to contact me.
The guy chris anderson never put up the site of my company nor refunded my money instead he asked for full payment even for unprofessional done website while the website was only $499 and i made $1,500 payment at that point. He tried to convice me and i gave me his cell #213-864-5047 to make me feel confident of him. He kept telling me that he is from new york and was born in jamaica hospital to persuade for payment and make me belief that he is not a scam when he is a SCAM!
I realized the guy is a scam and i immediately went to the moving company and got my company brochures back. Once i picked up the brochures and i told him his storey about flyers being ready while they were still sitting at the storage place. I made an excuse that there was misunderstanding. He kept on convincing me to make the payment otherwise he will report me to the collections so i asked him to go head because his business is not legitmate anyways.
I searched about him in the system and i found that company is under some other company name [ fountainheads.]
People this guy is all SCAM!
