Unauthorized deduction from bank account Connecticut

Shopping essentials has taken money from my bank account twice without my consent. When I called them, they said I had agreed to it and joined as a member when I ordered something from a catalog called "Whatever Works" I have no knowledge of joining or giving them permission to bill my account.
