On April 30th I ordered and payed for a MC-54B 250 Scooter from allnewsports.com. On May 8th the scooter arrived. It was a red MC-54 (No "B"), the trunk that came with it was blue and it was not the trunk advertised, and the mirrors were white. Very patriotic colors but absurd on a red bike. There was also damage to the left side panel of the bike as well as the plastic mud guard that surrounds the rear wheel.
I called them and was promised the correct parts would be shipped and I was assured that it was in fact a MC-54B. The 54 has a 244cc motor and the 54B has a 257cc motor plus other differences not to mention a $200 price difference. They requested pictures, I sent them 25 pictures at different times because of different requests from them for the pictures to prove to me that it was the 54B.
Finally, I joined a forum that has many knowledgable and helpful people on it and they asked me to look under the seat for the metal tags. Sure enough, it is the 244cc machine. Here it is June 22nd and I have not received one thing. They lie and lie and lie. Now it seems that their web site is only selling ATV's. Well a quick google and you will find http://www.alitescooters.com / which is their latest web site with a different address, same people. I am disputing the credit card charges and will return the bike when I receive a paid invoice for the shipping.
Stay away, they are a bait and switch bunch of thieves and liars characterizing themselves as just "very busy".
