Received bill from Verizon with a collect call charge to my number in Maryland on 05/07 at 9:33pm called from Conejo, CA 805-493-4670 for 10mins in the amount of $15.54. I never used my phone for long distance, I only used it for local calls. I called Verizon and the customer service tranferred my call to the Billing Reource 800-736-7500 who told me to call OSP communications between 7am to 10 pm M-F pacific time.
I called OSP communications and was cut off 3x, a woman and then a man answered and both of them disconnected my call and transferred to a voicemail box to leave a message. The reception is so bad with a clicking sound that I knew something is fishy about it.
If Verizon has been notified several times about this fraud why do they still connect you to the Billing Resource for inquiry.
