On June 5 I sent payment for a tempurpedic classic queen mattress via paypal. I found the mattress on craigslist austin. The seller's name is
Christopher Doherty. He has been responsive since the payment (phone and email) but i cannot get a UPS confirmation number from him to confirm shipment. So, now i'm nervous that i'm in the process of being a victim of a bait and switch. I did a google search for him and was not happy to find him in this registry (complaint) for exactly the same deal (same price, same mattress, same description, etc) as what i found on Craigslist Austin. Now of course i'm scared that i'm in the proess of being scammed. I have not received a mattress from him yet (real tempurdedic or otherwise). I'll i want to do now is cancel the deal and get my money back.
Do i have any course of action?
