I received a letter saying i won a lottery. Enclosed was a check for $2860 to pay the fees. I was to cash the check and send them the money. They would send me my $77,000.
The name on the check is EMO Corporation In receivership, Distribution office, 3767 Forest Lane, Suite 124 PMB-1215, dallas texas 1-877-576-7470. This is different than the name on th letterhead. With a different phone num, ber. The bank is Commercial Bank Dallas tx. I id call to inquire about the check.
I was told that as soon as I cashed the check I could send them the money and then they wiould send me my prize. It all sounds kind of fishy to me. I think they could stop payment on the check and then I would be responsible for the money. Sop i did not bite. I would like to knnow if any others have ever gotten paid by thses lottery letters...
