I received a letter from ox-ridge financial stating I won $72,115.21 from the new york lottery of $865,000 that 11 other people won & my name was chosen among the winning lottery # that 11 other people also won. Sent me a check for $2,965.23 from m&t bank who is holding my winning & is insured in my name!
I called ox-ridge financial to to claim but I can never get a hold of anyone all I get is their voicemail I have to claim my winnings by 06/16/06 or I will forfeit my winnings, but if I can't get a hold of anybody what can I do!
Today is only 06/14/06 how do I get my winnings! Know I know this is fraud! This is down right dirty to treat people make people think they won the lottery & send them a counterfit check hoping I will cash it so they would have my bank account information so they can clean me out dry. So I would be in trouble with the law for cashing a counterfeit check which I have not made an attempt to cash! I do not know what to do I will report this lottery scam to the fbi!
If anyone else has been a victim of ox-ridge financial lottery scam they need to speal out. I am sure after I get done with all the complaining that I will get my winnings anyway because this is fraud and down right dirty to treat people!
