I ordered three tires size 225/35/20 from Just Tires in Garner, N.C. Over the phone. The represenative that placed my order told me that my tires would be in the following day. I got the total price of the order and explained that I was out of town and he aksed if I would like for someone to call me to let me know that the order had arrived at the store location, I said sure. The following day passed and I received no phone call to inform me of my tires arrival.
The following monday, I called the store location and asked if my tires never came in, or were they in and I just was never informed. The sales rep. Said well I'm showing your order on top so they must have just come in. I asked for the total and told him that the price I was quoted on the day that I ordered them was a lesser price he then gave me a quote that sounded more like the original quote that I was quoted originally.
Upon arrival I picked up my tires and took them to my tire specialist, who was awaiting the tires so that they could be mounted on balanced and installed on my car. At that point I left the mechanic, where my car had been awaiting the tires, when I received a call as I had just started to turn in my rental car location to turn my renatl car in. I had to rent a car because my tires on my car were unsafe for travel, which was why I had to ordered new tires from Just Tires.
Today my rental agreement was up and I had no other means of transportaion, other than my car, which i was excited were about to have the new tires placed on. To my surprise, the mechanic informed me that the ties that I received form Just Tires were in fact the wrong tires and were a tire size of 255/35/20 instead of the 225/35/20. He explained that he could not mount the wrong sze tires and therefore I would not be able to drive my car.
At that point I was devastated, because I had driven over an hour and a half just to pick up the wrong tires, and now I had no transportation, because the car rental was up, so I was Stuck! I asked what should I do, and I was instructed to call the Just Tires Company and let them know that they had ordered me the wrong tires. I called Just Tires and spoke with Jimmy. He told me that " well when you bring the tires back we can refund you the $414.18 I asked how could you have ordered me theses huge tires, That can't even fit on my car.
I further explained to him that I purposely made sure that the order was put in for 225/35/20 Nitto Gin's and asked who placed this inaccurate order. He told me that he found the order in the computer but he had no way of telling me who placed the order. I told him that I had to go to work, and I needed a refund, and that I was over an hour and a half away from him and I really did not have the gas to waste to bring the tires back before 4'o'cock, and in addition I had to go to work and he was furrther putting me behind on my job. And I had to re-rent a car, because mine wasn't drivable yet, due to the wrong tire order.
On my invoice there was no make/model or year recorded and the actual date of the invoice was dated today's date instead of the date that I had called in on June 2. I requested Nitto Gin's, in which they don't even carry by the way, but instead just to make a sale gave me some tires brand named Nexen, so basically they were selling me a different brand and must have assumed by me being a woman, that I wouldn't know the difference. The truth is my order for 225/35/20 Nitto Gin's was never placed. That is why I never received the call that my 225/35/20 Nitto Gin's had arrived the next day to thier store. The fact is, is that they haven't arrived and they never will! Because they don't carry Nitto Gins!
Theye're mistake has cost me over $450.00 and left me with no tires., and no drivable vehicle. To top it all off, Mary, who works in the corporate office hung up on me when I called to file a complaint and requested to speak with a manager. Not only did she not transfer me nor offer me an extention, she told me that other constomers had calls on the other 21 lines, as if what their company did to me was o.K., and to basically tell me that my call wasn't even important, and people make mistakes all the time anyway.
No it wasn't a mistake, it was fraud and a rip-off because no company should ever attempt to sell a product that they don't carry. I am outraged and would never trust another Just Tires location, in fact hopefully I can find other complaints for this company, because if they are that dis-honest, then they don't need to be in business.
