Great news! You can now get your old, worn out tires restored—for free! Here's all you have to do:
Drive into Just Tires as I did and ask for an inspection which, in my case, determined that my tires were worn out and needed to be replaced immediately.
Then, only after a price quote on new tires, offer documentation that you purchased the tires there with a "guaranteed" new tread warranty, which is in effect because the tires have been driven less than half the warranteed miles.
Immediately, the friendly clerk becomes an automaton, reciting a list of documentation and frequent tire rotation and alignment requirements "and you must have proof."
Then, explain you had that work done at that very location.
Presto!
Just like that your tires are fine. Better than fine. It turns that your tires, in fact "have 30,000 miles left on them, despite what your own mechanic said. He was wrong. Just Tires was wrong. Amazing!
Press the point a little further and the clerk-turned automaton becomes sarcastic and abusive. Why would anyone with perfectly good tires try to make a warranty claim? Shame on you.
These folks are really bad. Stay away. Far away.
