I was on i believe craigslist or snagajob.com and I came across this company Career Network offering a high paying position to be a call center coordinator. I included ALL of my information including my phone #s, addresses, e-mails, etc. And I also attached my resume'.
They asked wierd questions like; "What is your cell phone provider?" in which I answered like a fool. A lot of question were very personal and I didnt think that this was a bogus job offer.
I got an email back from them this morning telling me that I met the requirements for the position, but i just needed to click on this link to provide extra information about myself. What else could they want, right?
Well, i clicked on the link and it asked me to log in and then it asked for minimum 3 up to 5 references they could contact about me. I filled in the references and clicked "GO" and it said their system had an internal error.
Anyway, I just felt in my gut that something wasn't right so i googled the company to get a contact number. No website or # in sight. Then this site popped up with a previous victim of the same company. She didnt fall for it like I did. But now I'm really feeling stupid and hoping and praying they dont use my information... What should i do???
