Opened my account in 1999. Etrade changed terms and added inactivity fees and changed the terms of my agreement without my consent. You know the rest of the story. I havent made any trades in years and the fees have accumulated to a huge amount. They said they would waive the fees if I brought them my other brokerage accounts or invested a huge amount with them. So it is clear they can waive the fees when they want to. Seems like being held hostage and really isnt fair. Would like to be a part of class action suit for people who had the agreement changed on them. Please contact me.
