A recent move across country, Wade Odell Wade sent individuals to our home to pack, and ship my contents cross country - the full package. Prior to the furniture arriving, I received a call from the driver of the Truck coming across country who wanted me to know in advance of all the damage Wade Odell Wade done to a number of pieces within my move. He refused shipment unless they signed off on the furniture indicating the damage was already done. They finally did which he told me and he had a signed copy listing all the damage. Much to my surprise, they destroyed a number of pieces, broken dining chairs, coffee table, custom beds, lamps, and more. After three months of no responses and much attempts - they finally sent me a settlement. The settlement was cut in half until such time I can provide original receipt of purchase, in addition, refuse to pay for the deductible from the insurance claim.
Now I have to go back and see if I retained any receipt from the furniture purchased or they refuse to pay the full claim as indicated - also, they refuse to pay the deductible amount from my insurance carrier - so not only did I NOT get the full replacement value, they are also deducting the deductible amount and now I have to fight for that as well.
My recommendation is to STAY AWAY from this company - as it is a big SCAM. I'm still fighting with little response. It is way too time consuming and my time is to valuable, however, I will pursue. Bob
