A young woman appeared at my door explaining that she was once homeless but now worked for Connection who was helping people get back on track. She convinced me to order a magazine for my girlfriend. This occurred on October 12. The receipt suggests calling the company after 120 days if delivery is not complete. No magazine arrived, so I called and left a message for the company, which was returned a few weeks later. The man told me there had been some problems with delivery in Georgia, but the problem should be resolved shortly. No magazine ever was received. When I call the numbers listed now, the 877 number is out of service, and the 732 number answers to a message that the mailbox is full. RIPOFF! So, my girlfriend and I did a little more digging. The address for this company is actually a house in Rahway, and through public records (MSN White Pages), we were able to find the owners name - Allen & Barbara Bowen, and an alternate number to reach them at - 732-382-4944. Mrs. Bowen hung up on me when I called and told her the problem. If Connection 2000 ripped you off as well, I encourage you to call the Bowens and let them know their way of doing business is unacceptable.
