Where I worked at I called people at there homes and asked them if the would like to help there local fire fighters or there local PENNSYLVANIA NARCOTICS OFFICERS, The pal program, Which was a good program were the police would volunteer there time to help keep kids and cops on playgrounds instead of JAIL.
The sad part is when I was told that only 5 or 10% would go to theses campaigns. We called 88 year old people, we were told not to take no for an answer. USE YOUR REBUTLES try 3 times then say something that may change there mind like everyone is able to at least help with 20 dollars.
