This is the biggest rebate ripoff ever devised. I purchased a product on the Internet which used this outfit to expedite the rebate. They charge $1.00 to give you an "immediate" rebate. Nothing could be further from the truth. I registered my rebates with them on December 19 and mailed the documentation to them. I have post office receipts that show the documentation was received by them.
When I tried tracking the rebates, they did not acknowledge receiving the documentation. But it gets worse. There is NO way to reach these people. If you try to contact them via email, the email is returned undeliverable! There is no phone number on the site to contact customer service or anyone. So the "immediate" rebate has turned in to a 5 month waiting period, and counting, to receive $30.00 in rebates for the product I purchased - the ID Vault.
The product was purchased through Fry's Outpost.com and I have contacted them to ask for their assistance in resolving this issue with their internet partner WorldwideRebates but they have not been able to assist me.
I am familiar with the usual rebate practices where they essentially use the cash flow for 2 to 3 months before returning your money but this takes the "rebate scam" to a new level. They just KEEP the cash. Someone needs to shut this scam down!
