I found the $14.99/mo charges almost a year ago and reported it then. Got it stopped but it started up again soon thereafter. I have absolutely no idea where they got my information or how & when. I just know I didn't agree to anything that would have a recurring charge.
I've been on the web since it first became available. I do tons of shopping, ordering, etc. And this is the only problem I've ever had.
When I phone these people using the number supplied by my credit card company, I get a run around. No one can even tell me what the charges are really for.
I take the blame for not regularly reviewing my credit card statement (despite all my many excuses)! Like others here, the amount was appearing for some months before I realized it, both times. However, there is no excuse for something like this to occur a second time.
Supposedly I've got it stopped once again but who knows when it will start up again?
I informed my credit card company today that if these charges start up again, I will close the account.
