Claimed that I subscribe to the American Reading Club Magazine and I owe $1050.00 back from Dec

I received a call from the debt collector stating I owe $1050.00 for joining the American Reading Club Magazine back on December.

I know this is not true, when I pulled my credit report one week ago, there was no such charge from American Reading Club.

I never subscribed to any magazine, nor have I spoken with anyone on the phone to join. I never had a phone during my time in Rome, NY.
